First Friday of The Month! WOW.

A dear friend comically called "First Friday", "The first friday of the month.." She would ask me, "When are we going to the first friday of the month? How do I get to the first friday of the month?" And I would just... well.. laugh... then I broke it to her. Like a real pal ;)

Sadly, I do this often..

First Friday! The best Friday out of every month (and dang, fridays are good). First friday is like adding honey to your peanut butter and banana sandwich (if you haven't tried it/don't like it -you suck)... the peanut butter and banana sandwich is already awesome (fridays are incredible) but the honey... oh, it's good.

What is First Friday you might ask? Well shame on you for not knowing! (see my zeal?) First Friday is San Antonio's way of apologizing for not being Austin and giving us a bit of Austin for 4-5 hours. There's weirdness (clothing, language, gestures..) so never mind that.. but there's art being painted on the street! knick-knacks being sold! Vintage clothing and indie style jewelry. AH sweet baby Jesus! And the wonderful scenery of downtown.
